What ImagePixo is

ImagePixo is a set of free online image tools: resize, compress, convert, crop and rotate images, remove backgrounds and make passport photos. There is no account, no login and no watermark on your downloads.

It is for anyone who needs to get a picture into the right size, format or file size: a photo that is too big to attach, a HEIC photo that won't open on a Windows PC, a profile picture that has to fit a platform, or a passport photo you want to print at home.

• Image Converter: Convert to JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF, including HEIC and SVG files.
• HEIC to JPG: Convert iPhone HEIC photos to JPG.
• WebP to JPG: Convert WebP images to JPG.
• WebP to PNG: Convert WebP images to PNG.
• PNG to JPG: Convert PNG images to JPG.
• JPG to PNG: Convert JPG images to PNG.
• AVIF to JPG: Convert AVIF images to JPG.
• SVG to PNG: Convert SVG images to PNG.

Resize

• Image Resizer: Resize by pixels, percent or inches, with social media presets.
• Instagram Sizes: Fit a photo to Instagram square, portrait and story sizes.
• YouTube Thumbnail: Resize to a YouTube thumbnail, 1280 x 720 (16:9).
• Passport Photo: A US passport photo, 2 x 2 in (600 x 600 px at 300 DPI).

Compress

• Compress Image: Make files smaller, to a size like 50 KB or a quality you choose.

Edit

• Crop Image: Cut an image down to the part you want, or crop a circle.
• Rotate & Flip: Rotate 90 or 180 degrees, or flip horizontally or vertically.

Background

• Remove Background: Cut out the subject and save it with a transparent background.

How it works

Your images are processed in your browser and never uploaded. When you add a file, your browser reads it and the tool does the work on your device. The result is a file you download from the same page. ImagePixo has no upload step, so we can't see your images, their file names or the details inside them, such as location or camera data.

The background remover and the passport photo maker use AI models. Those models are files that download to your browser the first time you use one of those tools, and your browser keeps them so the next visit is faster. The models run on your device. Only the model files travel, from our storage to you. Your photos never go the other way.
